Liz Earle Review

I think it had probably been a month since i posted 'Skin care' so now, here is my Liz Earle review. For those of you who haven't seen that blog just check it out here; http://laurenjadeee.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/skin-care.html

After a week i really wasn't impressed with the products because they made my face feel really oily. This was because i was using the wrong moisturizer for my type of skin. see, I thought that my skin was dry but really it was oily with some dry patches from dehydration. so i started drinking a lot more water and found that i no longer had dry patches.So to get the best out of Liz Earle's products i would make sure you know your skin type. I'm sure that there are millions of websites showing you all sorts of methods to find out what your skin type is.                      Maybe i should do post for that as well.
So now i have stopped using the Liz Earle moisturizer. But all the other products work amazing for my skin!

Cleanser&Muslin Cloth;
So every morning an night i apply one or two pumps of cleanse and polish hot cloth cleanser onto dry skin and use my fingertips to gently massage the cream over my face and neck. The good thing is that this if for all  skin types so thank fuck i didn't waste money on that. I think the muslin cloth is really useful, it manages to provide the right amount of exfoliation and takes nearly every trace of makeup off my face. Even the eyeliner and mascara that just didn't seem to budge

                                                       Instant Boost Skin Tonic;
I also love this product.Again, it is for all skin types so thank fuckery! I always use this although some people seem to think that it is a waste of time, I see it as face primer before foundation ( It may SEEM pointless but really it does that little bit extra) My face feel so fresh after using this as it really soothes and takes any excess makeup off that i may have missed.
Eyebright;
If you have trouble with tired, puffy looking eyes like i used to then i would seriously consider buying this. It makes my eyes feel so awake and fresh and people have stopped telling me how tired i look. HALLE-FUCKING-LUJAH!

OVERALL;
Simply amazing! my face feel so fresh especially in the mornings. It's perfect fr clearing my face before applying makeup and i don't look so spaced out in photos. I can't believe i only found out about Liz Earle a month ago. If you have skin troubles then check out their website here: http://uk.lizearle.com/ and of course i am only one person so i would check out some other reviews to help with your decision. I know they're pricey, but it's worth it.

Au-revoir x

Aprils Glossybox Review

I found out about Glossybox about a month ago so this is my first ever glossy box! If you haven't heard of Glossybox then i think your seriously missing out and if you are subscribed to them then i'm sure you would probably agree. WARNING: This review is very long but i promise it is my completely honest opinions.
So this is just my review on this Aprils box:
I will start off with explaining how in love i am with this months Glossybox. I love all things floral and petty so this was just perfect. i even kept it to store all my Nail varnish's in.

I didn't think i would be that amazed with what was in the box. i thought maybe it would just be a few moisturizers that weren't all that exiting but i was so wrong!! and this is why...

                                             REVIEW

ILLAMASQUA- Medium Pencil:
Ok, so i may have been boasting about how amazing this box is but this was the only product i'm not entirely exited about. its a creamy white pencil which is apparently supposed to be for your eyes,lips and brows... White lips and eyebrows?! Hmmmm i don't think i'll be using it for that and anyway, i already have a white topshop eyeliner.

YVES ROCHER FRANCE;
When i saw this i wasn't sure what to think. Ok it's pretty and purple but the packaging looked like something i would buy my gran! But still i gave it a go and just wow! It's even better than my perfume that i currently use so i think i may just buy the full size now! This is because it just smells so elegant, pretty and sophisticated.. it's just beautiful.
CRABTREE AND EVELYN- SOMERSET MEADOW HAND THERAPY;
I have been wanting a nice hand moisturizer for a while to pop into my bag so i was pretty pleased to see this. i didn't know just how much i would love it until i rubbed it into my hands and smelt it. I don't know why but when i smelt it i imagined that that is what the meadow in twilight would smell like. i don't know... i'm just weird like that.

ESSIE, NAIL LACQUER-bikini so teeny;
First off, i am sorry that i am not good at doing my nails! This is the first item that i saw in the box and i was just.. overjoyed? Thrilled? Joyous? I just don't know how to describe how exited i was. I had been eyeing up the Essie stand in my local boots and i love lilac and i love doing my nails and i love Essie and oh mee gawddd! It's so easy to apply and stays on, doesn't chip. i'm sorry if you don't like bad language but.. IT IS FUCKING AMAZING IN EVERY FUCKING SINGLE WAY!
NIP+FAB DRY SKIN FIX BODY BUTTER IN PISTACHIO;
I saved the best till last! As soon as i saw the words 'PISTACHIO' and 'SUNDAE' I was already on a hype. i even rubbed it in my mums face because she loves pistachio too. don't worry i'm not that nasty... i shared it with her :) So i may have been exited when i saw it but this is what is going to be hard to really explain.. smelling it! As soon as i opened up the pot and smelt it i was in ecstasy  That is how magnificent it was. The only way i can describe the smell is by saying it smelt like pistachio crumble goodness and i love watching the pleasure in peoples eyes when i let them smell it!
Again sorry for it being so long and i hope this helped you in some way x

Memorable Photos

Hello again,
A few weeks a go i had a look through my picture files and wondered what to do with them. Deleting them was not an option and i don't think it will ever be. I don't understand people who don't like a certain memory so they delete the photos that hold the memory... why?! I just can't do that because photos are so important to me. In the end i just left it but luckily, whilst on a lunch break to McDonald's with a few friends i won a little prize: 50 free photos!
Obviously i used it to print my photos off but when i found out the price for all the rest of the photos i just could't resist! I bought all of the photos in my folder so that i could happily delete them off my laptop and stick the print outs to my wall.
                               Here are a few photos i had printed out:

If you are interested in getting your photos printed out for a very cheap price then go to this website: http://www3.snapfish.co.uk/snapfishuk/welcome
My local Boots and Tesco charge £1 every photo and 50 photos from Snapfish is £5 (including delivery) ... i think that's a pretty good deal! would you agree?!
Thankyou x

Milkshake Heaven

I absolutely love this milkshake. i got the idea from a YouTuber called macbarbie07.For those of you who havn't heard of/seen her videos she is what you would call a 'Makeup guru' but also does things to do with fashion and baking. i really like her video's because they give me some good ideas. i even learned how to make my own bows like the ones on urban outfitters.
anyway, the reason i love this milkshake is because it is so simple. Simple's good, right? i have done my own English version as i'm pretty sure we don't have Robbin eggs here in the UK. Basically it is the chocolate crushers milkshake or any other milkshake that you like. i add a good lot into a glass of milk, squirt loads of cream and sprinkle crushed mini eggs on top or robin eggs if your american. This is an absolute favorite! x

review for Maybelline Dream Matte mousse

hello,

I have bought four of these so far and i don't think i will be buying another. I bought so many because they were doing a special offer at the time; 2 for £10.. how could i resist?!
This product claims to provide an "air soft, perfect matte finish coverage, with a weightless feel but unfortunately it just doesn't work for me.I wish it did because i love maybelline products, especially there mascaras.
I think the type of foundation doesn't work with my type of skin which i would call combination.. by this i mean my skin has a shiny complexion where i get spots but then i also have patches of dry skin (I found this so confusing at first as i couldn't work out what my skin type was!) When i apply it, it comes out very cakey and lasts for about an hour. I'm not saying that this won't work for anybody. I'm sure it will but for me it just doesn't do my skin any favours.
Have you tried this product? what do you think?.. or is it just me that has this problem? x

How to deal with losing a bestfriend

so this post is pretty personal but i want to share it with you so that maybe if your dealing with the situation it will help you in some way.
Recently i lost a VERY important person in my life. my best friend. I guess we hung on to each other in the hope that our friendship would go back to normal and unfortunately it just didn't. although she was prepared to let go of the friendship, i really wasn't and i have been having a really hard time with dealing with the loneliness that i have felt for these past few weeks. The reason it has been so hard is because i don't have anybody that i feel particularly close to. I have my mum and sister and i appreciate everything that they have done for me but i still need a group of close friends.
My best friend meant a lot to me. she was there for me when both my great nans died, my Grandad died and when two of my ex's treated me like utter crap. she was even there for me when i later went counselling. It was a five year friendship which made all the more harder to deal with. i even contemplated committing suicide.

After thinking about it i decided to change my life. I did small things like met up with a friend that i felt i was getting closer to (I always feel happier around this person and i think you should push out the people you feel negative around and pull in the people you feel positive around) , started jogging every morning at 6am as i feel uncomfortable jogging when most people are up and probably staring at me and made myself busy with college work. Even though i'm adding these small changes i still need to add more. I need to fill my life with things that make me happy so that i am unable to spend time thinking negatively.
 do the same! what do you like to do in your free time? and if there's nothing, try new things. find a hobbie. just do everything to enjoy life and change the negative thoughts to positive. Just in case you can't think of anything here's some things that i enjoy:
Art
Baking
Dance
Nail art
Makeup
Swimming
Shopping
YouTube
                                    I really hoped this helped in some way. Have a great day! x

My Everyday Makeup Routine

hello! :)
I haven't got a very good camera and i'm currently saving up for a DSLR so i have not taken a self picture to post up. sorry.

Everyday makeup list:
NYC-Smooth Skin Perfecting Primer
GARNIER-BB cream light combined with L'OREAL-infallible foundation
L'OREAL-the powder true match
L'OREAL-la touche magique... well that sounds very fancy!
BaryM-blusher 2?
Max Factor-lipfinity lasting lip tint, shade 01
Max Factor- smoky eye effect (the plum Colour under eyes and blended into the crease)
MUA- professional eyes primer
AVON-Colour trend silver star/pitch black (pitch black for waterline)
MAYBELLINE- the rocket volume express

This may look like a lot of make-up but really it's not. i don't use every single piece and like to switch it around every day. sometimes i'll just wear the powder and some mascara but it really just depends on how much i like my skin in the morning and my mood.
What products do you use on a daily basis or which products of mine have you tried or would like to try? what should i add/take away from my essentials?

Thank you for taking your time to read this and have a lovely day! x

Skin care

So lately i have been trying out more expensive skincare products and i have got to say that when it comes to skin care i think that "you get what you pay for"
My make-up used to come out streaky and even sometimes flaky. it used to really bug me because every day and night i would put cleanser,toner and moisturiser on and yet it didn't seem to help.
One night i had just had enough so i had a good search online to see what other people used and what seemed the best which ended up being Liz earl... But when i looked online the full set was around £40-£50. well anyway, Luckily i managed to talk myself into buying the essentials try-me kit and i have got to say so far so good (although i have only been using it for 3 days) Now my make-up looks so natural, smooth and just flawless!
If your having the same troubles as me i would check out there products.Even if it means just getting the try-me kit (£23) The thought that !I! could help just one person with skin troubles means so much to me.
you can check the website out at: http://uk.lizearle.com/     I don't know if they have there own store. I definitely don't have one by where i live.
I hope this helped. Also, after i have finished using every little scrap of my set i will be doing a review which will include more detail on each and every product and i will include my EVERY thought on the whole set. so if you want to see that keep an eye out. i'm guessing a month or so and that may be long but i want my reviews to be nothing but my every truthful thought.
                                                       Have a nice day!

How to be relaxed around your crush

I have been asked this question so many times so i thought i would simply write it out in a blog.

Just take a deep breath. it will help you to relax and show your crush that your a calm person. who doesn't like to be around calm people?!
put a smile on your face. don't force it on though otherwise it will make you look fake.. and maybe a little creepy.also, laugh! if your crush says something funny then laugh but don't overdo it. laughing at there every single word can be annoying.
Make the first move no matter what gender you are but don't rush it all. taking it slow can have a better out come and make sure you have fun!
Most of all be yourself and don't change to fit what you think there ideal partner would be. If they don't like the real you and try to change who you are then are they really worth it?

And finally, It's not the end of the world if you get rejected... just pick yourself up and move on. it's there loss. someone else will be round the corner for you!

I hope this helps!

GARNIER skin naturals BB cream- Light review

I kept bumping into this product at my nearest boots and finally decided to buy it because i was getting fed up with the foundation i was currently using and the packaging looked really nice.
I have had this product for just over a month and it's a good product (just not MY perfect foundation that i am still on the hunt for)  I really like the texture of it as when applying to my face it is really smooth and silky but not greasy although i feel it does dry a bit and if i don't blend it in fast enough it leaves big streaky lines and i find my self applying it on a few times in the day as it wears away within a few hours.
This product claims to even tone and boosts glow, ( again, i think this only works if you apply it fast enough but otherwise i think it does a good job) blurs imperfections, smoothes fine lines, 24 hour hydration and SPF 15 UV protection. i think it does everything it says on the packaging except the Colour doesn't stay as long as i would have hoped (only up to 3-4 hours in my case)
altogether the price is really good (around £8) and i would buy again. Maybe the brush i use causes the occasional streaks. You can find this product at super drug or boots and i'm sure there's lots of other shops that sell it too and online. It's definitely one of the best BB creams i have tried so if your looking for a new foundation/BB cream  then i would check this out!
